Hamid Manzil constructed under supervision of Chief Engineer W. The tough part of the journey had now started and we suffered a bone-jarring ride over the pot-holed 30 KM stretch amidst heavy tourist traffic from Rampur to Bilaspur. We refuelled and continued on the congested highway till Rudrapur.
The towns of Uttarakhand are a pleasant surprise and present a clean, orderly look especially when compared to their shabby cousins in Uttar Pradesh.
